Thelma Berlack Boozer Scholarship

Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® collaborates with The Tau Omega Charitable Trust Fund, Incorporated to raise funds to support the Thelma Berlack Boozer scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to individuals with a demonstrated financial need who have excelled academically and demonstrates leadership in their community. All applicants must be graduating from high school in the spring and attending college in the fall. Preference is given to those who will be attending a historically black college or university (HBCU). All applicants must either live in or attend high school in the borough of Manhattan. The scholarship award may be up to $12,000 disbursed at the rate of $3,000 annually for no more than 4 years for students who maintain a B or greater cumulative grade point.
